I can’t believe it’s only been two weeks since these two wonderful people got married! I’ve returned from my trip, way too many pictures in tow and within a week was already back in school….well….a different school….that’s the same, but different. Anyway, that’s not why we’re here tonight.
Tracy is 6 days older than me. As children, we played together and I’m pretty sure she was my first best friend. She had awesome blonde curly hair, she was allergic to cats and I thought she was pretty awesome. We would play at her house, with her little brother Eric. Chances are he’d pick on us, and we’d tell on him….then he’d beat up on us….or vice versa. It was always an adventure with them. So it was understandable why I was sad when my family moved from South Dakota. I would miss her so much.
Tracy and Joe share the same birthday and though I’ve met him only this once, I can see why she loves him. He is an amazing guy. He loves his family and he loves her family. When I was asked to photograph their wedding just outside of Mt. Rushmore, I was both nervous and excited. This is my family, I didn’t want to let them down!
Tracy and Joe, thank you a million times over for this honor. You are two remarkably beautiful people with an amazing family and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you. Congratulations and all my love to you!
